John, PING's Fitting Specialist, was with us last Wednesday for a very successful PING Putter Fitting Day. 

The sun was out and a number of members and visitors were fitted to their stance and stroke with some surprising results. It is easy to neglect the importance of putter specification when we are not trying to hit it 280 yards+ down the fairway but those that experienced a fitting saw the difference. 

  

Whether they needed a different loft, lie, length, grip thickness or style of head to suit their build, stance or stroke, each individual found that their own 'off the shelf' putter was not giving them the best chance of holing putts consistently. 

They will see a big difference with their new spec putters...we will be looking out for you on the results sheets!
